Internet Stability Test
Is your connection steady, or does it drop and spike? This test watches it second by second for up to five minutes and shows exactly when things go wrong.

Choose a length and press Start. The chart shows your connection second by second.
How it is measured: once per second the test times one small HTTPS request to Cloudflare's nearest server and subtracts the server's own processing time. Every request counts, so a single slow one shows up as a spike. Seconds when the tab was in the background are left out. A second where nothing comes back in time counts as a dropout. A spike is a response more than twice your typical ping plus 20 ms. Jitter is the average difference between consecutive seconds. The stability score starts at 100 and loses points for jitter, spikes, dropouts and a rising trend. Results describe the path to Cloudflare, which can differ from the path to your game or call server. Nothing is stored.

Why test stability?
A speed test is a snapshot
It measures a few seconds of maximum throughput. A connection can pass that and still drop out ten times an hour.
Calls and games need steadiness
Real-time apps care less about top speed and more about every second arriving on time. One long spike is enough to freeze a call.
Problems come and go
Interference, busy neighbors and failing equipment show up intermittently. A longer test gives them time to appear.
